Is the Bible a science book?
This is a question that has dogged the Christian community for years. Believe it or not this is a problem because our Christian educators don’t know the science that is in the Bible can be verified with a little study and research.
Have you ever heard this excuse? “I don’t know anything about science so I don’t try to argue about that “scientific stuff” because I studied the Bible not science.” Little do these individuals know that the Bible contains one of the most accurate science records that has ever been printed? Many leaders in the church give this reason for not being able to combat the evolutionary arguments because of their lack of scientific knowledge about the subject. Yet this is the very argument that is said to undermine our faith. Ministers, who don’t know the science in the Bible, are lost when the evolutionist say that the Bible is not relevant to today’s society.
PEOPLE, WE ARE IN A WAR!
During The Civil War, when General Grant determined to take Richmond, Virginia, he did not attack Atlanta, Georgia; neither did General Patton attack Northern Africa when he planned to stop the Germans at the Battle of the Bulge. Each of these Generals surveyed his enemy, identified his objective, developed a plan, and implemented that plan through a series of calculated attacks to win his objective.
Today, the Christian community seems to be attempting to fight the enemy without knowing where the enemy is or how to beat him. It’s like being in a boxing match blindfolded; the opponent’s punches are felt, but the other boxer refuses to take off the blindfold and becomes a punching bag. The question: DO WE WANT TO WIN THIS FIGHT? OR, ARE WE SATISFIED WITH BEING A PUNCHING BAG? The secular humanists state: “The Bible is a fairy tale; the Bible stories are not relevant in today’s society; there are errors in the Bible, it is not accurate; the Bible is not accurate with today’s science.” The Christian community is being bombarded daily with attacks by individuals who deny that the Bible is true. The following is a direct quote from a confirmed evolutionist:
“I also believe there is a natural explanation for everything in the natural world. Implying a deity of super-natural ability that created everything and knows everything seems a bit of a stretch when one observes the nature of things. It also opens the door to many other questions that are unanswerable. Because of this, I skip the step of accepting the idea of god as the eternal creator of all things and simply accept that the universe and all its parts have always existed.”
This argument begins with the premise that Biblical creation can’t be true; that there is no foundation for the argument of creation. How can one look at any part of God’s creation, the complexity and interdependence, and not know that creation of the universe is not due to a cosmic accident, but the work of an intelligent designer?
We, in the creation community have allowed the evolutionists to set the rules of war by not addressing the real issues: the fact that the evolutionists and humanists cannot stand the light of critical analysis, truth in education, contrary opinions, and a pure scientific study of the evidence.

True science, through archaeology and the study of the earth’s layers, shows how natural elements, subjects, plants, and animals appeared all at once. The Bible leads us to certain scientific formulas that explain our weather cycles and the results can be duplicated through experimentation, verifying results and conclusions that an intelligent designer is the author of our existence.
While evolutionists state this is a legend and fairy tales, they are unable to show one transitional link to support what they state as truth; that any creature or living organism evolved from a one celled creature to a two celled creature. They present this as truth and fact, without any scientific evidence.
We need truth being taught in our educational system, striking the enemy at their weakest point; their lack of truth and verifiable evidence, the absence of empirical evidence to substantiate their argument for evolution that millions of years were required in order for life to evolve to its present state. Theological schools must begin to teach the existence of the facts about scientific principles found in the Bible.
The need: An organized demand for truth throughout our education system using true scientific investigation with empirical science methodology; the use of critical analysis of the evidence and data acquired in order to arrive at the inevitable conclusion that we are “fearfully and wonderfully “ made.
